RIP Michael Jackson (1958-2009)

As many of you have heard, the King of Pop passed away June 25th at the age of 50, after suffering from a sudden cardiac arrest. The Gloved One touched souls from all over the world with his music. He was a recognizable icon across the planet. He even made his mark in ADDANAC CITY.
In honor of his musical achievements and place in history, I’m posting this encore presentation of the AC strip that made reference to Mike.

I think kids even Hank's age are somewhat sad today.
I believe so, too. MJ had an effect on just about everyone regardless of race, creed, or age.
One of the biggest stars of my lifetime, for sure. Never had that jacket, regretfully.
I was fortunate enough to get a knock-off replica in sixth grade. I was never cool enough to be able to wear it without feeling self-conscious (or getting teased), but it meant a lot to me. Everyone else had the Beat It jacket.

Dag, that IS such a crazy coincidence. I didn't think about that. You're okay, though. I always wonder about the folks with September 11th birthdays.
What did you do yesterday? Did anyone take you out or buy you a Benz or anything?
Yeah, the 25th was also my late grandfather's bday, my mom & I were joking that he'll accept Farrah up there as a bday gift, *snicker*
RIP, indeed, the best entertainer pop music has known.
I think Farrah would've made an excellent b-day present.
