Good Vs. Sequel

Good Vs. Sequel

It looks like the Addanacs decided they needed to go out on the town and take in a movie. Maybe this date will help Mr. A remove himself from the doghouse after his ignorant foible the other night. I also wonder what movie they went to see.

NEWS ITEM: Hank made a sweet cameo-appearance in today’s Muddlecreek comic by Jerry Benedict. Check it out! Jerry’s art is lovely.

    A Zombie Titanic would rock!

I also have a complaint. It's hard to read your comic when my eyes always gravitate towards Mrs. Addanac's cleavage. Just sayin. :-P

    • GeorgeFord says:

I think I would even go see that.

How do you think I feel?!! I could barely get past drawing the first panel. I kept getting overwhelmed by her assets. :)

I'm holding out for the pre-quel.

  3. Midtoon says:

Rocky 23, Battle for the Nursing Home…

  4. Bearman says:

Obviously you haven't heard of the Empress of Ireland which went down 2 years after the titanic

I dint know why, but that poster just seems dirty to me!

  6. speearr says:

A Titanic sequel would boost cruise-bookings substantially. The relevant industries should lobby.

  7. D. Long says:

Ah, my biggest pet peeve about Hollywood now. No Integrity.

Hollywood's formula has become: Make a movie. If it's successful, make a sequel. Repeat, until a sequel goes straight to DVD, then start the cycle again with a new movie.

They'd make a sequel to Schindler's List if it came out today.

    • GeorgeFord says:

Hollywood is all about catering to the cash cow. They figure it's easier to get viewers to watch a movie they've heard of than to start from scratch trying to elicit an audience.

  8. I know it's all kinds of wrong, but when I was finally forced to watch Titanic the only time I was truly entertained was when Leo fell into the Atlantic. xD

  9. Funny Strip!

Your right on with this one!

They'll beat horse to death and beyond if they think there's a nickel to be made…

  10. Pearl Harbor 2: This time, it's personal!

  11. i'm going to refrain from mentioning that i saw TITANIC 11 times in the theater. or that i had an unwarranted crush on LEO.

but um, i what i will say is that i thought that said "fucks" instead of flicks.

    • GeorgeFord says:

Hahaha! I noticed that, too, after I posted this strip. I wondered whether anyone else would see it that way. I'm glad you have an acute gutter mind like I do. :)

Don't worry about Titanic. My ex-girlfriend an I watched it a million times ourselves. We didn't see it in the theater, but we bought it on VHS and wore that tape out. :D

  12. First, why is Mr. A wearing a jacket and Mrs. A is wearing short sleeves and open cleavage? Is it hot or cold in there?

Second, I've already written my third sequel to my first movie. I'm just waiting for some director to realize what a money maker I am!

    • GeorgeFord says:

Mrs. A is just hot-natured (can't you tell?). Mr. A is more of a cold-fish person. Plus, Mrs. A is more of an exhibitionist. Annnnd, don't you think Mr. A should keep that hideous sweater covered? :)

I've got a comedy script that I've been sitting on for a couple of years. I'm ready to write the sequel now. Maybe we'll both get our stuff green-lighted. How's your children's book coming along?

      • My kids keep asking me about the children's book too. I have to finish the novel i'm working on first. It was supposed to be done by now!

        • GeorgeFord says:

I need to stop messin' around and go order "Images of Betrayal" so I can read a novel created by someone I've corresponded with. I bet you leave Iris Johansen in the dirt. :D

  13. A-Hyuck says:

im not complaining about Mrs. A's cleavage one bit

  14. dolst says:

Here I am, commenting on a comic many months late, but I had to say something.

Google “titanic 2 the surface” and see the video that someone made. It’s almost convincing.
Some people still think it’s real. Surf Wisely.

  15. JLG says:

Nice double joke. It took me a minute to get "Deep Ship."

Harry Potter wasn't the best example to use, though. Now "Madagascar 3" on the other hand….
