It seems like Hank has a lot to learn about how to work for what he wants.

That is truly an honest prayer from the heart.
At least you know that Hank relies on his higher power to see him through.
I can't believe that boy has escaped this long without being struck by lightning!
Lightning may be what's given Hank that interesting hairstyle.
Isn't this what that whole be the Secret is about?
Basically. But they stretch the concept out for like 200+ pages. I trim it down to 4 panels.
Have mercy! Hank is too much!!!! ^_^
Father Mackey's gonna start walkin' around with Holy water and a garlic necklace if he keeps dealing with Hank too much longer.
This is the kind of prayer I can relate to.
I have seen the light.
The Gimme Prayer is for everyone.
Ah, the truth shall set you free! Or it is "ask and ye shall receive"?
I think it's both.
Let the one among us who has not committed a little embezzlement cast the first stone … or something like that!
Amen, brother!
May his prayers be heard!
I don't think anybody ever really listens to poor, ol' stoopid Hank.
The preacher's expression in panel four—whenver a character of yours has that facial reaction to something, it always reminds me of a common "reaction face" in Dave Berg's "The Lighter Side Of…" in Mad Magazine. Totally different drawing style, but it's pretty much that same expression. XD
I have mad respect for Dave Berg's work. He's one of my comic strip inspirations, but he can draw waaay better than I can.
