I wonder if Jack’s charm lies in his unwavering persistence. Sometimes you just to have wear ‘em down until they realize they love you. Maybe Jack’s tactics have worked before, but it doesn’t appear that Calethia is gonna fall for it.
Get prepared, Dear Reader, for tomorrow’s triple-sized comic “Reaching A Climax” as we find out what’s gonna happen with ol’ Jack. Also we’ll learn the results of AC’s last poll.
If you’re new to this storyline, start here and work your way forward.

Jack's actually an attentive guy just so long as the conversation mentions things that are in his favor.
Why hasn't she shot him already? Shoot now!
I concur, shoot the bastidio NOW woman, SHOOT-SHOOT-SHOOT!!
How is she gonna play off shooting Jack in a locked prison visitation room? She took the trouble to smuggle a gun in there. Evidently, if she intends to blast on him, she'll try to do it carefully.
Plus, if you read the past few strips sequentially, it's only been a couple of minutes since Calethia showed up in the visiting room. It' just seems like it's taken three days.
If you're gonna shoot someone in revenge, I believe you'd much rather have them cowering in fear and begging for mercy. I think Calethia is waiting for Jack to show remorse before she plugs him.
Oh that means she never gets to shoot him if she's waiting for remorse!
See what happens Tuesday.
If Hank just had a self-destruct button he could go ahead and push it and get it over with. I think his way of thinking is that if you keep going down far enough that you will eventually be going up.
Jack is a survivor. He just wants to survive in utmost splendor.
Usally no one wants to shoot me until AFTER the wedding!
I generally see the business end of firearms during the honeymoon.
Wait till the guy who really knocked her up shows up. The Warden.
I wonder who really is the father of her baby? And what will he think about all of what's going on with Jack trying to push up on his girl and drive her to murder? Hmm….
"I figured I would be Bonnie"–good one!
Thanks, David. Only Jack could say something that asinine.
I can just picture Jack on "Bridezilla" right now.
Jack and I are a lot alike. We don't really hear you unless you're saying something we wanna hear. B)
Haha, “I figured I would be Bonnie.” How dare she make the sexist assumption that he would be Clyde!
Yeah! Whatever happened to Men's Lib?
hi
If Calethia had chosen a different firearm there might be a real shotgun wedding!
I bet Calethia wishes she had an entire arsenal just to get rid of Jack.
