I don’t think Mr. Addanac is really gonna go thru with it, but it was funny to imagine him trying. But, at least, he’s being proactive about the situation. Love will make you do strange things. 
And speaking of which, today is my first wedding anniversary! Coincidentally enough, it’s also my wife’s (I knew we were made for each other with so many similarities). This lady’s put up with me and nearly 365 ADDANAC CITY comic strips this year. I could not have done it without her (it was her idea to create the website and stop cramming these comics in my art table drawer).
And, believe me, I haven’t ignored the irony that these strips dealing with the Addanac’s fictional divorce possibilities coincide with our first wedding anniversary, either. Weird, huh?
