I don’t think this the very end of Ren and Christie, but it sure is a stumbling block for the moment. Maybe they can get back together soon.

Sometimes, in order for relationships to be successful, sacrifices have to be made. I believe Ren and Christie may be too young to appreciate such sacrifices. Maybe they can get it back together if they spend a little time apart. You know what they say about absence and fond hearts.

Exactly, Jill. I've only been married a little more than a year, but I already know that you have to give a little in order to get anything (no pun intended). Trade-offs and forming truces is all a part of the game.
I've not seen The Notebook, but I've already made a mental note to take Ren's advice to heart!
I haven't seen it yet either, but I imagine it's not a movie for guys who like movies.
Are there fast cars and explosions in The Notebook? Is it a high tech computer espionage thriller? Who has time for movies anyway?
