A few weeks ago I announced a contest to “Name My Story”. For the past five months, I’ve been working on an epic time-travel adventure starring two of my main characters, Hank Addanac and Esteban Ruiz. Hard Time: The Life and Legend of the Boll Weevil
How’s that sound? I like it, myself.
Although the winner didn’t come up with that exact title, he came the closest to what I felt encompassed the spirit and nature of the story. And that winner is?????
Todd’s entry was “The Legend of Boll Weevil“. Another contestant came up with a somewhat identical entry, but Todd beat them by an easy week or two.
I added “Hard Time” to the title because….well, frankly Hank and Esteban definitely went thru a hard time fighting their way through 1990. Plus, I like the term “Hard Time” because it makes me think of a prison sentence, and you can best believe that our heroes were virtually held prisoner while they were in that era. 
I’m pleased by the outcome of this story and contest and I will promptly get to work creating the winning design. So, if you’re reading this, Todd (and I truly hope you are), let me know via email or comment here which character (Boll Weevil or This Guy) you’d like to have as an 8.5″x11″ full-color autographed print.
