ADDANAC CITY: Comics For Kids Collection Is Available!

I’ve been working on a lot of things during the past few weeks. I’ve recently released Hard Time: The Life and Legend of the Boll Weevil collection, and I have just finished putting the finishing touches on a new AC books that collects 80 pages worth of comics that are aimed towards children.

Although, Addanac City is primarily a comic series where any and everything can occur, there are quite a few strips which are safe for kids to read. You may think that some of these strips are moldie-oldies, but bear in mind, kids have to hear those jokes somewhere in their lives. “Why did the chicken cross the road?” Yes, we all know the answer to that, but there’s a kid somewhere who doesn’t know the answer. There’s gotta be a beginning, and ADDANAC CITY Comics For Kids is just what the Doctor of Comedy ordered! :)

This collection is 7″ x 7″ and it’s 80 pages of FULL COLOR for only $20. If your kids don’t enjoy reading, this is a good way to get them interested. If you’re an avid Addanac City reader, this is also a great way to share that joy with them.

As an added bonus, you can get free Flat Rate shipping from now until December 10.

AC Fan Art by Thadyus Thaxton of South Boston, VA

This recent piece of ADDANAC CITY Fan Art was created by a great guy, Thadyus Thaxton, who’s from my hometown even though we had never gotten in touch until I was three thousand miles away. We’ve been corresponding back and forth via Facebook, and since Thadyus is a cartoonist, I asked if he would design something I could put up on the site. He didn’t hesitate an iota of a second. Before I knew it, this baby arrived in my email box. I would like to share Thadyus’ talent with you all. If you get a chance, check out some of his other works of art.

Thanks again, Thadyus! And the next time I’m home, we’re gonna have to bump heads and catch up! :)
