When I was living out in Virginia, and my wife (then-fiance) was still out in California, I used to stay on the hunt often, searching for some decent airline fares. I used Priceline and CheapTickets, but could never find something that fit within my frugal cheap means. Eventually, I had to pay whatever price they wanted ’cause it kept increasing as the days passed by.

I thought it would be funny to see what lengths Mr. Addanac would go to save a few greenbacks. That dude is hardcore. How far would you go?
