Some of you are just joining us, while there are a few of you who have been here since the beginning. Hopefully, there have been vast improvements made since AC’s first appearance on the web. I’ve noticed lots of subtle (and not-so-subtle) changes that have taken place. I’m aiming for things to get even better as I continue attempting to bring you the funny every day.

What do I have planned for the future? Hmmm…..

There are a number of small stories which are already completed just waiting for the right day to be unleashed. In the upcoming months, we’re gonna witness:

~Lloyd and his new girlfriend!

~Hank and Esteban investigating what happened to This Guy/Principal Cider after he got caught!

~Jack featured in a political assassination-voodoo plot!

~Mr. Addanac struggle with his alcoholism!

We’re also gonna find out the answers to questions such as:

~Which character will be guilty of sexual harassment?

~Which characters are related to one another in two bombshell revelations?

~Will Mr. A fall off the wagon and end up in the bottom of the barrel?

~Is there bad blood between Lloyd and Jack?

~Is divorce in Mr. and Mrs. A‘s future?

Yeah, the remainder of 2011 is gonna be jumpin’ around here. I hope you will keep reading to find out the answers to all of these questions and more. Let’s do it again for another 800 comics, y’all. See you tomorrow! :D

AC Guest Art by Andrew Clark of “Slice of Fate” Comic

I was super-duper surprised when I returned to work from lunch today. I shook a few hands, kicked it momentarily with my supervisor, then decided to check my email. I was so glad that I did because I received an email from an old comic-creating friend of mine, Andrew Clark. It was great hearing from him, although it’s been awhile since we’ve communicated. I feel bad about that because I hate drifting and losing contact with someone, but things happen, situations and priorities change, and you inadvertently lose touch.

Andrew Clark creates an online graphic novel by the name of Slice of Fate. I began following his comic a couple of years ago but I hadn’t been following it as closely as I used to. Andrew‘s skills have skyrocketed since he first began the series. He’s continuously incorporated color and his line-work is crisp and clean. Overall, I’m impressed with what I see coming from his imagination these days. The guy is improving by the millisecond.

So, let me back to the story of the email. In the correspondence, Andrew wished me well for having reached my 800th AC comic milestone. He wanted to help celebrate that joyous occasion with me by sending me a drawing of Hank as a super-hero sidekick. I was floored! Andrew did a bang-up job and I can vividly imagine Hank being a disgruntled second banana to a top-level hero.

Thank you so much for making my day, Andrew! I hope everyone who views this piece of art appreciates it as much as I do. I will most definitely have to return the favor. Folks, take a moment and go thru the archives of Slice of Fate and get yourself some classic entertainment. It’s a pretty good read! :)
