Using Business Cards To Promote Your Webcomic

Aside from the postcards I mentioned in one of my earlier blogs, you can also make good use of business cards to help market your webcomic series. Business cards are excellent tools because they are small, thus easy to carry and keep on you, plus they contain a lot of important information.

You never know when will be the best time to have one on you until it’s too late. my wife is a talker, and she’s always mentioning her home-business to anyone within earshot. Word-of-mouth is a great way to promote yourself, but at the end of the conversation, you need to present your potential reader/customer with something they can take home with them to remember you by. Business cards come in handy for that.

I’m always getting asked by a stranger or new friend if I have a business card or some sort of contact info. Even if we weren’t discussing my webcomic, when I present my card, it piques their interest. They start asking questions which I am more than happy to answer.

I keep a few different business cards on me, depending on where I’m going, or the type of person I’m encountering. You’ll have to gauge for yourself who you would want to have certain cards of yours. You may want to just stick with one set card and be done with it. The choice is yours. Me, I’m always switching up and doing something different, so a variety works for me.

If you would like to know more about the company I use to print my business cards, just shoot me an email and I’ll send you a link that will save you lots of money. If you already have a printing company that you’re comfortable with, then stick by them and make sure you have enough business cards on hand to help brand your comic. :)
