I love jokes. Especially cynical jokes. Although I consider myself a more-than-happily married man, I find marriage jokes to be some of the most hilarious ones.

I haven’t named the character Grandpa Addanac is conversing with (I’m leaning towards Sam or Gus), but he shows up in at least one more future strip. I want Gramps to have his own lil’ circle of friends.

I think that’s important to show him in a non-paternal state. It fleshes out the characters more, sorta like how we’ve discovered a lot about Harvey‘s personality since giving him Lloyd as a running buddy.

There’s more layers to a guy than just being a father and a husband. I guess I had to get married with kids to truly find that out. Hope you enjoy today’s comic and see y’all tomorrow for more comedic mayhem.
