Fellow Husbands, Boyfriends, Fiancees, and Boy-Toys…please listen up. Be very, very careful whenever the starring female in your life begins asking some very strange off-the-board questions.

Women particularly prefer to ask these kinds of questions while we’re doing other things like having fun, so that they may catch us off-guard and unprepared. My wife is infamous for designing worst-case scenarios. Y’know, tiny little “what if?” questions that don’t appear too be too dangerous to answer upon first glance.

Ha!

Each one of those worst-case questions are laced and loaded with poisonous venom and buckshot. Sometimes I’ll play along (like Harvey does in today’s strip). It ends the same for me as it does for him, with my wife going for my throat because of my smart-@$$ answers.

I love to get her goat even if it ends with me having black eyes and lumps around my knotty lil’ head. She knows I love her to death, but it’s a must that I keep her on her toes wondering what I’m gonna do in the event of an emergency.

I love it when Harvey and Simone argue. I can tell that it’s kind of like a game to them and there’s nothing malicious abut the way they “wage battle”.

I grew up in an environment sorta like that, and I know my parents love each other no matter how much heck they toss in each other’s lap occasionally.
