Who Was The Grand Prize Winner of “Fiddlestix” 25th Anniversary Celebration? Me, That’s Who!

2012 was a pretty lucky year for me. One reason why was that editorial cartoonist extraordinaire, Michael Pohrer, recently celebrated the 25th Anniversary of his popular comic strip series, Fiddlestix, and he held a drawing in which the chosen winners would win a plethora (or butt-load, depending upon your choice of vernacular) of extremely cool original or rare artwork designed by him and a very special guest-cartoonist. :)

Well, I was elated to discover that my name was chosen in the drawing as the official Grand Prize Winner! I was on top of the world! I’ve included some photos detailing all of the magnificent prizes that were included in my winning package.

Cool beans! Fiddlestix/Pearls Before Swine original artwork signed by Michael Pohrer and Stephen Pastis!

This is mega-cool! I am a huge fan of the comic strip Pearls Before Swine. It was considerably gracious of cartoonist Stephen Pastis to contribute his tremendous talent to MJ‘s commemorative milestone.

This awesome sketch is definitely going up on my office wall just as soon as I get an office. And a wall.

I could feel the magic tingling through my fingertips as I held this piece of original artwork. It is indeed an honor to have been bestowed this esteemed pieces of art.

If you are not already aware of Michael Pohrer and his formidable cartooning skills (which rock or prison have you been hiding under or in?), then you need to become a regular reader on his website. You can also check Pohrer out on his Google Plus page.

Thanks again for the honor of receiving all of these extraordinary items. I will forever cherish them. :D
